Logline
A brilliant but arrogant economist attempts to save a dying coastal town through deceptive financial schemes—only to watch his empire collapse and his sanity unravel.
Drama, Thriller | English | Feature

Synopsis
When economist Alex Friedman arrives in the declining town of Rockport, he presents himself as a savior—reviving the economy through bold investment strategies and ambitious redevelopment. But beneath the surface, his vision is built on fraud, shell companies, and falsified data.
As journalist Lauren Shaw uncovers the truth, Alex faces the consequences of his own ambition. What began as a quest to “save” a community becomes a psychological unravelling—a portrait of hubris, greed, and self-destruction in a world addicted to growth.
Tone & Style
A psychological thriller in the vein of The Big Short, Margin Call, and Nightcrawler.
Visually restrained, with haunting coastal imagery and desaturated tones, Fragile captures the tension between ambition and decay—where moral and economic collapse mirror each other.

Director’s Statement
“Fragile is both timely and timeless. It’s not a political story—it’s a human one about guilt, grief, and the illusion of control in a collapsing system.”
